By combining clinical research, environmental monitoring, and digital innovation, HOHLI aims to:
- Assess how marine environmental quality impacts the nutritional value of local seafood.
- Explore the influence of diet and environment on reproductive health and longevity.
- Empower individuals and communities to make healthier, more sustainable food choices.
The project focuses on selected areas of the Adriatic and Tyrrhenian coasts—particularly Pollica, the emblematic home of the Mediterranean Diet—bringing together local knowledge, scientific excellence, and technological tools to co-create solutions that can be scaled and transferred across regions.
